In a recent keynote, Alec Irwin, Head Developer of Integrations at Johnson Brothers, discussed the company’s rich history and their vital role in the complex world of alcohol distribution. During his presentation, Alec covered the significance of integrations to ensuring top-notch customer service while juggling the demands of both suppliers and retailers.

Johnson Brothers had faced a myriad of challenges with their legacy integration platform. Digibee’s ease of use, real-time support, modern cloud-based infrastructure, and transparent pricing were critical factors that influenced JB’s decision to switch to Digibee.

We present four youtube from Alec’s presentation highlighting how Digibee helped Johnson Brothers overcome integration obstacles:

1. Thorough training and support for their massive migration project

“We needed really good training because we needed to know the product so that we could solve our problems ourselves quickly. We needed to get some professional services obviously. Our team alone would have had a really hard time moving from six years of stuff in the six months that we had to do it.”

2. Reduced learning curve with Digibee iPaaS compared to previous legacy platform

“So the learning curve of the system that we had was really, really steep. And in order to get more new developers on our team, we would have had to pull somebody through that learning curve.”

3. Constant and reliable support at every step of the process

“Helping us plan and build our integrations, how to move them from one system to another. They’ve been there to help us architect these things in a new way so that they’re more reliable, and they’re helping us learn how to read the logs, and really I would say they’re being mentors to help us really learn and build great things.”

4. Helped build in a reusable way, future-proofing applications

“They’re helping us future-proof a lot of these apps so that we can reuse a lot of stuff that we weren’t building in a reusable way before. Now we’re still able to build with kind of an API-led approach so that we’re able to run things on demand and also have it run on a schedule, a lot of these things.”
